Private lessons

Senior teacher: CHF 96.-- / lesson (45 minutes)
Junior teacher: CHF 80.-- / lesson (45 minutes)
+ CHF 50.-- per 2 lessons in your office/residence
The content and timing of private lessons is adapted to the individual needs of the student. Lessons are planned together with the teacher. Cancellation 24 hours before the lesson is possible.


English for business

CHF 640.-- / 8 weeks (1 x 90 minutes of lessons per week)
(small groups 3 - 4 pers.)
with native English speaker teacher
The English for business course we offer is aimed at non-native speakers of English who would like to improve their knowledge of Business English. Topics covered will include: language for meetings and negotiations, social English, such as business small talk, language for telephoning/conference calls and, if there is interest from students an introduction to Business law such as Contract law etc.
The lessons will offer a mix of conversation, reading and writing and will include useful expressions, review of prepositions, vocabulary and grammar structure. Material will form a range of Business/English course books, as well as newspaper articles. It is anticipated the course participants should have knowledge of English to at least advanced level, in order to benefit fully form the course.


Conversation course

CHF 240.-- / 4 weeks (mini groups: 2 - 3 pers. / 1 x 90 minutes of lessons per week)
with native English speaker teacher
these courses are continuous and participation is possible at any time
Increasingly English is the international language, necessary for business, social situations, academic research and the Arts. The English Conversation course we offer will cover everyday situation such as introducing yourself and talking about your interest, asking for directions and making travel arrangements. It will also cover business related situations such as describing your company, your role in it and some basic professional terms including marketing, finance and legal.
The emphasis of the course will be on functional communication - making yourself understood to other speakers of English. Whilst grammatical errors will be corrected the aim of each class will be to give participants the confidence to speak and enjoy the English language. Participants should have an existing intermediate knowledge of English, perhaps from study at school or university or are already using it in daily situations. There will however be plenty of opportunity to revise vocabulary during each class.


Standard courses

CHF 240.-- / 4 weeks (mini groups: 2 - 3 pers. / 1 x 90 minutes of lessons per week)
Courses take place once a week generally for those preferring not to study intensively. The course is based on lessons with small groups of between 2-3 people. Cancellation 24 hours before the lesson is possible. These courses can be supplemented with private lessons if students feel they need additional tuition.
