Standard courses

CHF 200.-- / 4 weeks (small groups: 3 - 6 pers. / 1 x 90 minutes of lessons per week)
CHF 240.-- / 4 weeks (mini groups: 2 - 3 pers. / 1 x 90 minutes of lessons per week)
these courses are continuous and participation is possible at any time
Courses take place once a week generally in the evenings and are ideal for business people and those preferring not to study intensively. The course is based on lessons with small groups. The aim of this course is to pass the exams of the Goethe Institute. Cancellation 24 hours before the lesson is possible. These courses can be supplemented with private lessons if students feel they need additional tuition.


Conversation courses

The course is based on lessons with small groups of between 2 - 6 people. Within the German speaking part of Switzerland, it is very difficult to practise High German in daily life, as the population speaks Swiss German and not High German. This course gives students an opportunity to practise the theory/grammar of High German learnt within the classroom. The training of spoken High German across all levels is made possible by the use of different methods such as roll-plays, dialog exercises, descriptions of pictures, etc. The language training in small groups is pleasant and motivational, and ensures vocabulary is trained and enlarged, with text-work and reading.


Newspaper reading

CHF 240.-- / 4 weeks (mini-groups: 2 - 3 pers. / 1 x 90 minutes of lessons per week)

Newspaper reading enlarges vocabulary for daily life and reading. The repetition of the same words in the course helps students to remember and to give a profound understanding of difficult words and phrases of demanding text within newspapers. The course is based on lessons with small groups.


Intensive weeks

CHF 590.-- / 1 week course (5 x 225 minutes of lessons per week / in small groups)

This course corresponds to the intensive course program, with the aim being to pass exams of the Goethe Institute. The intensive course is based on lessons with small groups of between 2-6 people. Conversation lessons are integrated into the course, to train and apply the students’ knowledge of grammar.
